Does this windshield work with side mirrors?
The windshield is suitable for side mirrors with thin roll cage clamps and fits for OEM X3 side mirrors, not compatible with side mirrors with thick roll cage clamps.
Could it work with soft doors B0110-13701BK?
No, it could not work with B0110-13701BK. But we have windshields of B0110-02601CL B0110-07901CL B0110-14901CL B0110-15673-CL that could work with soft doors.
I am wondering if the electric wiper motor kits available on Kemimoto would be a direct replacement for the manual wipers.
No, the manual wipers could not be replaced with our electric wiper motor kit.
Could it work with roof?
This windshield can work with most soft or hard roofs. But NOT compatible with OEM or aftermarket aluminum x3 roof and those roofs w/ sun visor, for example cannot work with OEM #715002900.
What is the thickness of the windshield?
The windshield is 8mm thick.
Can you add a motor kit to this in place of the wiper handles?
If you install electric motor kit by yourself, you may need to drill holes if the holes are not aligning. And this will also damage to the windsheild. So we do not suggest you to add motor kit to this in place of the wiper handles.
