B0802-00305-BK UTV Turn Signal Kit
I was in hopes that this product would offer means to use the ATV/SXS subharness for keyed power while still going back to the battery?
We suggest you can directly connect the “+” terminal to the ACC position of the power source. This way, the product will only receive power when the vehicle is sta-rted. And this turn signal kit does not include ACC wire.
What size hole to drill for the turn signal?
20.3mm/ 0.799 inch.
The horn switch remains illuminated all the time with the vehicle on or off. I realize the power is connected directly to the battery but the back light should not be on constantly.
This issue can typically be resolved by connecting the horn switch to the ACC (Accessory) power source. When connected to ACC, the switch will only receive power and illuminate when the vehicle is turned on, preventing it from staying illuminated at all times.
If wired directly to the vehicle battery, will the switch indicator light stay constantly illuminated?
Yes, it will stay on.
How much power does the switch indicator light consume when it is constantly on?
Typical power metrics (12V system): Operating current: 3mA (measured), Instantaneous power dissipation: 36mW, 30-day continuous energy use: ~ 0.026kWh. Classified as de minimis power draw.
How should I install the switch if I don’t want the indicator light to stay on constantly?
Connect the positive terminal to ACC and the negative terminal to the battery’s negative terminal. – illumination only when vehicle is running.
Can you tell me if the turn signal with blink or is it just a steady light?
The turn signal is with blink, not a steady light.
How to install the kit properly?
Here is the installation video for your reference.
Turn signals don't work / don't flash.
Please follow these steps: ① Check all wiring connections are secure; ② Confirm vehicle voltage is 12V; ③ Swap the non-working light to the other side to determine if it’s a light or controller issue; ④ Check if the fuse is blown; ⑤ If all above are normal but the light is not working normally, then please contact us through support@kemimoto.com and send a video to show the issue.
Turn signals flash too fast / too slow.
① Confirm vehicle voltage is 12V (voltage fluctuations affect flash rate); ② Non-original LED lights may cause mismatch; ③ Check the fuse. Contact us if the issue persists.
