Can the battery be removed? How long does it last?

Yes, the battery is removable for easy charging. It lasts up to 36 holes (2 full rounds)on a single charge.

Can it handle hills?

Yes. Dual 240W motors easily conquer slopes up to 25% (14°). Big Wheels and Anti-Tip wheels design help it stays steady on fairways, wet grass, and gravel paths. However, please adhere to the specific usage restrictions as stipulated by the regulations of the golf course you are playing on.

Does it come with a remote?

Yes. It includes a remote with a 492 ft (150m) range and one-touch start/stop for effortless control. Note: It does not support smartphone control.

Is it easy to fold?

Yes. It features a one-step folding system and stores compactly at 26.8×22.2×15.1 inches, fitting easily into most car trunks. Additionally, the cart is well-balanced, making it easy to lift and transport.

Is it waterproof? Can it charge phones?

It features an IPX5 water-resistant rating (safe for rain/dew). This product is IPX5 rated, which means it can withstand daily water splashes, rain, and low-pressure water jets, fully meeting the waterproof requirements of daily usage scenarios. However, it is important to note that this product is not designed for immersion use, and it should not be directly sprayed with high-pressure water jets such as those from a high-pressure water gun. It also includes a USB-C port to charge your phone or GPS device

Charging instructions

1. Connect the charger directly to a power source. Never use extension cords.
2. The charger can only charge Lithium-ion battery.
3. Avoid reverse charging.
4. The chargers are not intended to charge automobile batteries.

How long does it take to charge?

It takes 7 hours to fully charge from 0% to 100%.

What accessories are included as random gifts?

ApexR comes standard with multiple accessories such as a water bottle holder, umbrella stand, and remote control storage bag.

Does the remote control support turning off the device?

Our remote control does not support power-off, but we offer a low-power standby mode. When the remote control is not in use, the standby time can exceed 6 months with a full battery charge. Additionally, we provide a child lock feature. Users can lock the remote control function by simultaneously pressing the mode switch button and the STOP button on the remote control, and can also unlock it in the same way.

Troubleshooting

E1 Error Code

Error Type:Dashboard/Controller Communication Fault
Error Detail:After the machine is powered on, Alarm E1 will appear on Dashboard & emits a beep sound.
Solution:
Communication failure between dashboard and controller:
1. Check if the communication cable of the dashboard is damaged or detached. If yes, then the dashboard needs to be replaced.
2. Check if the communication circuit of the dashboard is damaged. If yes, then the dashboard needs to be replaced.
3. The communication circuit between the controller and the dashboard is damaged. If yes, then the dashboard needs to be replaced.

E2 Error Code

Error Type:Controller Overcurrent Protection
Error Detail:After the machine is powered on, Alarm E2 will appear on Dashboard & emits a beep sound.
Solution:
Controller current overload protection
1. Check if the controller has water ingress issue, if yes, then the controller needs to be replaced.
2. Check if the controller motor wiring harness is damaged, if yes, then the wire harness needs to be replaced.
3. Check if the current sampling circuit of the controller is damaged, if yes, then the controller needs to be replaced.

E8 Error Code

Error Type:Controller Overheating Error
Error Detail:After the machine is powered on, Alarm E8 will appear on Dashboard & emits a beep sound.
Solution:
Controller temperature too high
1. Leave it for a period of time.
2. If unable to recover, controller temperature sensor or collection circuit damaged, then the controller needs to be replaced.

F2 Error Code

Error Type:Battery Overvoltage
Error Detail:After the machine is powered on, Alarm F2 will appear on Dashboard & emits a beep sound.
Solution:
Battery voltage overload
The battery is faulty. It needs to be replaced.

 

H6 Error Code

Error Type:Push button failure
Error Detail:After the machine is powered on, Alarm H6 will appear on Dashboard & emits a beep sound.
Solution:
1. Check if the push button is stuck, needs to be returned to its original position.
2. Check if the push button is damaged, if yes, then the push button needs to be replaced.

 

Unable to Power On

The dashboard display doesn’t turn on when the machine is powered on/ The machine is unable to power on after short/long pressing on the power button.
Solution:
If the machine is unable to power on, you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the power button is stuck/damaged.
2. Please check whether the battery has power and confirm whether the battery can be charged normally. Charge it for 10-20 minutes before trying to power on again.
3. Check whether the cable of dashboard is connected normally and whether the connector and cable are damaged.

Unable to Power Off

The machine is unable to power off after long pressing on the power button.
Solution:
If the machine is unable to power off, you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the machine is locked through app, please unlock the machine through app first and then try to power off.
2. Check if the power button is stuck/damaged, check whether the power button bounce back normally.

Power On/Off Automatically

The machine powers on/off automatically without pressing on the power button.
Solution:
If the machine powers on/off automatically, you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the power button is stuck/damaged, check whether the power button bounce back normally.
2. Check whether the cable of dashboard is connected normally and whether the connector and cable are damaged.
3. It may be an occasional firmware abnormality. Leave the vehicle for 2 hours or take away the battery and let it sit aside for 2 hours before checking again.

Unable to Power On without Charger

The machine can only be powered on when plugging in the charger.
Solution:
1. Re-insert the battery and try to turn it on again;
2. If it can only be turned on when charging, it means that the battery is faulty and needs to be replaced.

The Machine Is Unable to Charge Through Battery

The machine is unable to charge.
Solution:
If the machine is unable to fully charged , you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Use the app to connect with machine, upgrade the vehicle firmware to the lasted version and then confirm whether it can be fully charged or not.
2. Check whether the charger is damaged, whether the wiring harness is damaged, and whether it is the original charger.
3. Plug in the charger and check whether the charger indicator light is red during charging. If the indicator light is red, it means that the machine is charging; if the indicator light is green, it means that it is not charging. Please check whether the charging port has poor contact or the charger/battery is faulty. If the charger indicator light is red, but the vehicle still cannot charge, it may be a battery problem, then the battery needs to be replaced.

The Machine Is Unable to Fully Charge Through Battery

The charger indicator starts with red light and turns green after long time of charging, but the machine is not fully charged.
Solution:
If the machine is unable to fully charged , you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Use the app to connect with vehicle, upgrade the vehicle firmware to the lasted version and then confirm whether it can be fully charged or not.
2. Check whether the charger is the original one and whether the charging port has poor contact.
3. Confirm whether the ambient temperature is too high or too low. When the temperature exceeds 0℃-40℃, the battery enters the high and low temperature protection state and cannot be charged. At this time, the charger indicator light is green. When the temperature returns to 5℃-35℃, charging can be resumed. Please ensure that the ambient temperature is kept at 5℃-35℃ during charging.

Abnormal Noise From Motor

When pushing, there is an abnormal noise coming from the motor/ motor stuck intermittently.
Solution:
If there is abnormal noise coming from the motor or motor stuck intermittently , you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Check whether the connection terminals between the motor and controller are loose or disconnected.
2. Check whether the push switch has poor contact and the front and rear wheels are stuck or not.
3. Push the machine and check if the motor stucks intermittently so it means the motor or controller is faulty and might needs to be replaced.

Abnormal Noise From Folding rod

Abnormal noises when unfolding or folding the golf cart.
Solution:
If there is abnormal noise coming from folding rod, you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the folding mechanism screws are loose, it needs to be tightened.
2. Check if the handrail tube, lower link and rear upper/lower trim cover are deformed and replace them if necessary.

Short Mileage/Range

The machine is unable to achieve the advertised mileage.
Solution:
If battery mileage is too short, you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the battery is fully charged.
2. If the charging time becomes shorter, it means that the battery is aging and the capacity is declining, then the battery needs to be replaced.
Battery mileage:Battery with full charge, a 30kg load, an ambient temperature of 25°C, a flat asphalt road with no wind, and a constant speed of 9km/h. Driving on grass, uphill, or with excessive load will reduce range.

Remote Control Can't Be Used

If remote control cant’t be used, you need to use the following procedure to troubleshoot:
1. Press the menu button 5 times in a row. The the signal indicator on the dashboard will start blinking to indicate pairing mode. Press the power button or either power assist button to confirm pairing. When both the signal indicator and battery indicator are solidly lit, pairing is successful.
2. Make sure the remote control has power. If it has no power, please charge it.

The handle is stuck. I press the toggle but handle won't move.

Step 1: Open the Lock
1. Locate the red lock button.
2. Press the red lock button with your finger, hold it down, and lift the lock.
Step 2: Pull Up the Steering Column
Pull the handle upwards to the appropriate operating height.
Step 3: Close the Lock
Press the red lock button with your finger, hold it down, and press the lock back down.

It shuts down due to a power outage during use, but restarting it restored normal operation.

1. Please confirm whether you have charged the electric golf caddy after receiving it. Our battery is a 220Wh high-capacity battery, and due to relevant transportation regulations, the factory charge level is limited to below 30% before the shipment. We recommend charging for 7 hours for the first time before your usage.

2. If you have already charged it, please confirm that the battery is properly installed on the golf caddy and that the connection switch is pushed all the way in (as shown in the picture).

3. What mode was used when the power was off (remote control mode/assist mode)?

6. Did you move the position of the battery pack when restarting after a power outage?

Should I charge the battery after each round—regardless of how much charge is still in the battery?

Our battery supports 36 holes’ playing. If you plan to play 18 holes, we recommend charging when the battery level shows 3 bars; if you plan to play 9 holes, we recommend charging when the battery level shows 2 bars.

When not in use should I keep the battery in the cart?

Yes, the battery could be put inside the cart when the cart is not in use.

If I keep the battery in the cart should it be plugged in or not plugged in?

If you are only going to not use the golf caddy for a short period of time, it will not matter whether the power cord is plugged in or not, as our intelligent BMS system supports power hibernation management. If you will not be using it for an extended period of time, we recommend that you fully charge the battery, take it out, and store it. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific storage methods.

Unable to install the large wheel

Hold down the red button on the large wheel until the wheel snaps into the retaining slot.

The anti-tip wheels cannot be detached or installed

Press and hold the spring-loaded button at the bottom to push in or pull out the anti-tip wheel

Hard to push forward or inability to push forward

Press and hold the safety assist button (red button) on either side of the handle

The instrument panel is not lit; there is no power

1. Check if the battery has power. Charge the battery and then try turning on the device. When charging, make sure the battery switch is fully turned off. The charger will display a red light during charging and a green light when fully charged.
2. When using the device with power connected, push the battery switch all the way down until the red indicator is barely visible.

The vehicle suddenly shakes or shuts down on its own while driving

Check that the battery release button has been pushed all the way in, so that the red indicator is barely visible.

Spinning around or the wheel skids on flat ground; keep driving to the right side

Check that the large wheels on both sides are fully seated in the guide slots.

The remote isn't working

1. Press any button on the remote control to check if the indicator light comes on. If it does not, please charge the remote control before using it. If the indicator light still does not come on after charging, please contact customer service.
2. Check whether the meter displays the remote control battery level and the wireless connection icon. If neither is displayed, or if only the wireless connection icon is displayed, you will need to reconnect and pair the remote control;

Cannot be folded

1.Press and hold the red fold button to fold it.
2.After folding the handle, lift the structure shown in the illustration at the same time until the folding is complete.

The device won't charge, or the green light comes on immediately when the charger is plugged in

When charging, slide the battery switch to the “OFF” position (as shown in the figure: the charging port should be in the middle position). During charging, the adapter will display a red light; when fully charged, it will display a green light.
