Horn switch stays illuminated all the time. Is it a bad switch?
This issue can typically be resolved by connecting the horn switch to the ACC (Accessory) power source. When connected to ACC, the switch will only receive power and illuminate when the vehicle is turned on, preventing it from staying illuminated at all times.
Does the product have a self-cancelling function? Will it automatically turn off after turning and proceeding straight?
No, the product does not have a self-cancelling function.
What is the distance between the hole positions on both sides of the triangular light fixture? What are the drilling dimensions?
The distance between the hole positions on both sides of the light fixture is 4.83 inches; the drilling dimension is 0.63 inches.
What is the exact size of the turning lamp assemblies?
The drilling size is 16MM, and the hole distance on both sides of the lamp is 122.77MM. The hole diameter on both sides of the lamp is 3.7MM, and the total length of the lamp is 140MM.
It seems that the Horn light is on all the time and that is not good since it can drain the battery. What could be done?
Sincerely hope you can understand that the original intention of the design of the horn switch light is to allow users to see the switch clearly at night.
The power consumed by the horn switch light is negligible.
Typical power metrics (12V system): Operating current: 3mA (measured), Instantaneous power dissipation: 36mW, 30-day continuous energy use: ~ 0.026kWh. Classified as de minimis power draw.
If you want to turn off the indicator light on the horn, we suggest that you connect the “+” terminal to ACC, and you can achieve this.
