Does this come with switches and a control module?
The item comes with a control module, but there is no separate switch.
You need to control the lights through remote control or the APP.

This product does not need a relay, this product comes with a controller and the harness is already included. You can install it according to the instruction.

The app name is Magic Lantern. You could scan the QR code below for downloading the APP and then follow instruction steps to use the APP.
Are these a 3 pin or 4 pin watertight connector?
It is the 3-pin connector.
What is the wattage/amperage of the product?
The power of the white light is the highest, with a power of 80W and a current of 6.7A.
Are there any precautions for installing whip lights?
Please make sure to connect the controller and the light strip first before turning on the power.
How does it work with the turn signals lights?
If you need the turn signal function, you need to purchase a turn signal switch relay, and use the switch to control it when turning.

What size are the threads at the base?
The thread size of the base is M12*40mm.
Can these be wired to a switch and not use the brake light and blinker function?
Yes, they could.
How to match the remote controller to the whip lights?
Press the bottom left button for 5 seconds, remote controls are one-to-one matching, then it won’t be changed by others, especially in a crowd of people at the dunes.
Press the bottom right button for 5 seconds to cancel the matching. All remote controls can control it
Will this whip operate on 24V? Looks like the operating voltage is a range of 12-30V DC.
No. Our whip light will require 12V power, otherwise, the light will malfunction.
Will this work on a boat?
Yes. Our Whip Light is IP67 waterproof, you can use it on a boat.
Do these whips have a quick release?
Yes, both the mounting base and power cable have quick disconnects. And the base can be replaced by KEMIMOTO Spring bases.

When I press the brakes they light up blue, what should be done?
The 5050 is GRB while COB is RGB. Please follow the steps below to check and adjust the pin sequence:
1. Open the app used to control the lights. (You can find the download QR co-de in the user manual, or if you do not have it, please download the app by scanning the QR co-de.)
2. Once the app is open, click on the settings button located at the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select the option “Mo-dify Pin Sequence.”
4. Switch to the “RGB” mode and click “OK” to save the settings.
5. If the RGB option does not resolve the issue, continue scrolling through the available sequences and test each one until the colors match correctly.

Will these fit a 9/16 whip light mount? My hole is a 9/16, so wanted to know would these work.
The diameter of the whip light base is 12mm. It could not fit your 9/16 mount.
Does this light whip set control through Bluetooth?
No. The whip light could only be controlled through the remote controller.
Does this have a 4 pin connector or 3 pin?
The product has a 3-pin connector.
Do these lights have the chase mode?
Yes, the lights support automatic light mode, monochrome display modes and dynamic light modes.
Does the lights come with the mounting kit?
Yes, these come with adjustable mounting clamps and quick-release mounting bases for usage.
What material the internal pole is made from?
The light whips are covered by transparent heat-shrinkable tubes which are made of EVA and high-toughness silicone, can be bendable, and protect the waterproof 5050 SMD chips from water and dust.
Can you tell me if there is an app for this item?
No, the item is not having APP control function. It could only be controlled through the remote controller.
Are these flexible/bendable?
Yes, these are flexible and bendable.
Do these come complete with the wiring to hook them up as shown in the photo?
Yes, the kit comes with wirings for installation and usage.(Lamp cable length 20cm, control box input cable length 60cm, output cable length 2m)
These plugs are 3 pin, I just need to know which pins correspond to 12V VCC/VDD, DIN (Data in), and GND (Ground).
