E0 (Inlet Temperature Sensor Protection Failure)
Remove the side panel and replace the inlet water temperature sensor (located below the water flow sensor).
1)After the part replacement, if the heater operates normally, it indicates that the inlet water temperature sensor was damaged. Replacing it resolves the issue, and the heater can be used normally.
2)After the part replacement, if the heater still cannot operate normally, it indicates that the controller or wiring is damaged and needs to be returned for inspection.
E1 (Leftover Flame Protection Failure)
1)The valve body cannot close and needs to be returned for replacing the valve.
2)The sensing needle is malfunctioning and needs to be returned for replacing the sensing needle.
E3 (Failure to Ignite or Accidental Flameout Protection Failure)
Check the gas cylinder status (propane gas source and whether the gas cylinder is sufficiently filled).
1)If the gas cylinder source is incorrect, or the gas pressure is low, please replace the gas cylinder.
2)The gas cylinder source is correct, and the gas pressure is high. Check whether the gas valve spiral knob matches the heater’s threads and is tightly connected.
If the gas valve spiral knob is tightly connected to the heater, it is likely that the internal valve body of the machine is not opening correctly or the controller is malfunctioning. The heater needs to be returned for inspection.
If the gas valve knob is not tightened or the threads do not match, it may result in the gas cylinder not being correctly connected to the heater. Reconnect and test again.
E4 (Outlet Water Temperature Sensor Protection Failure)
Remove the side panel and replace the outlet water temperature sensor.
1)After the part replacement, if the heater operates normally, it indicates that the outlet water temperature sensor was damaged. Replacing it resolves the issue, and the heater can be used normally.
2)After the part replacement, if the heater still cannot operate normally, it indicates a failure in the controller or wiring, and the heater needs to be returned for inspection.
E6 (Overheat Protection Failure: Temperature Exceeds 122℉)
Turn the gas valve knob to the minimum, set the showerhead to the middle level position, and adjust the handle knob to the maximum setting for use.
Explanation: To meet CSA certification requirements, the current program is set to trigger an E6 fault if the temperature continuously exceeds 122℉ for 3 seconds. To avoid this failure, you can increase the water flow or reduce the gas input.
E7 (Dry Burn Protection Failure)
Remove the side panel and replace the thermostat (overheat protection device).
1)After the part replacement, if the heater operates normally, it indicates that the thermostat was damaged. Replacing it resolves the issue, and the heater can be used normally.
2)After the part replacement, if the heater still cannot operate normally, it indicates that the controller or wiring is damaged and requires to return for inspection.
E8 (Tilt Protection Failure)
This failure is due to tilt protection. When the tilt angle exceeds 30°, the water heater reports this failure. You can correct the heater’s position and restart the water heater to clear the failure.
If correcting the heater’s position does not clear the failure, remove the side panel and replace with a new tilt switch.
1)After the part replacement, if the heater operates normally, it indicates that the tilt switch was damaged. Replacing it resolves the issue, and the heater can be used normally.
2)After the part replacement, if the heater still cannot operate normally, it indicates that the controller or wiring is damaged and requires to return for inspection.
EA (This applies only to constant temperature models)
This failure occurs when the water pump is not connected, and there is no inlet water signal when pressing the water pump button. It is recommended that the customer connect the water pump before performing this button operation.

Battery-related Issues
1.No animation shown on display after plugging In
1)Condition: you are using adapter to charge the water heater
Inspection Steps:
1.Unplug the adapter, turn on the bottom rocker switch to power on the water heater with the battery.
2.Observe whether the battery shows full charge when the battery is without load.
3.Connect the water pump, long press the pump button to power it on, and observe whether the battery still shows full charge under load.
4.Turn off the bottom rocker switch, connect the adapter, and observe whether the water heater can start.
Troubleshooting:
1)When the bottom switch is on, the battery shows full charge when without load or connected to the pump.
1.1)The water heater starts normally when connected to the adapter with the bottom switch off. The battery is fully charged and the heater is working normally.
1.2)The heater cannot start when connected to the adapter with the bottom switch off. Check if the adapter indicator light (green) is on.
If the indicator light is on, tighten the front shell fuse. If charging works after tightening the fuse, the issue was caused by a loose fuse. If tightening the fuse doesn’t help with the battery recovering charging. Remove the fuse and check whether the fuse is blown. If the fuse is blown, replace the fuse. If the fuse is normal, the charging inlet line is faulty and needs to be returned for inspection.
If the adapter indicator light is off, try tightening the fuse and if the power input is abnormal, then it needs to replace the power input or adapter.
2)When the bottom switch is turned on and the heater is powered by the battery, the battery level does not show as full either without load or when connected to the water pump.
2.1)The water heater starts normally when connected to the adapter with the bottom switch off. The battery charging circuit is failed, so the item needs to be returned for inspection.
2.2)The heater cannot start when connected to the adapter with the bottom switch off.
2)Condition: you are using cigarette lighter to charge the water heater
Inspection Steps:
1.Unplug the cigarette lighter and turn on the bottom rocker switch to power the water heater with the battery.
2.Observe whether the battery shows a full charge when without load.
3.Connect the water pump, long press the pump button to power it, and observe whether the battery still shows a full charge under load.
4.Turn off the bottom rocker switch, connect the cigarette lighter, and check whether the heater can start.
Troubleshooting:
1)When the bottom switch is turned on and the heater is powered by the battery, the battery level shows as full when without load or connected to the water pump.
1.1)When the bottom switch is turned off and the cigarette lighter is connected, the heater can start up normally. The battery is fully charged, and the heater is functioning normally.
1.2)When the bottom switch is turned off and the cigarette lighter is connected, the water heater cannot start. Check the input (the voltage must be 12V).
If the input is normal, try tightening the front shell fuse.
If tightening the fuse allows normal charging, the issue was caused by a loose fuse. Tightening the fuse still does not allow normal charging. Remove the fuse and check if the fuse is blown. If the fuse is blown, replace the fuse. If the fuse is normal, it indicates a cigarette lighter failure or a charging input line failure. The cigarette lighter should be replaced, or the heater should be returned for inspection.
The input is abnormal, please replace another input for charging. The power input is abnormal, even tightening the fuse, then it needs to replace the power input or adapter.
2)When the bottom switch is turned on and the heater is powered by the battery, the battery level does not show as full either without load or when connected to the water pump.
2.1)The bottom switch is off, and the heater can be started normally after connecting the cigarette lighter. The battery charging circuit is faulty, so it needs to be returned for inspection.
2.2)The bottom switch is off, and the heater cannot be started after connecting the cigarette lighter.
2.The battery cannot fully charge (the charging animation persists for a long time).
1)Condition: you are using an adapter to charge.
Check if the bottom rocker switch is turned on during charging (the bottom rocker switch must be in the “on” position while charging).
The bottom rocker switch is not turned on. Turn on the bottom rocker switch to charge.
The bottom rocker switch is already turned on. Then it needs to be returned for checking the charging circuit.
2)Condition: you are using a cigarette lighter to charge.
2.1)The heater is equipped with a boost module.
Check if the bottom rocker switch is turned on during charging (the bottom rocker switch must be in the “on” position while charging).
The bottom rocker switch is not properly turned on. Please switch on to charge.
The bottom rocker switch is properly turned on. It needs to be returned for inspection.
2.2)The heater is not equipped with a boost module.
For water heaters without a boost module, the cigarette lighter only provides power for operation and does not have a charging function. Therefore, it is not possible to fully charge the battery using the cigarette lighter.
The water heater cannot be powered on.
1)The bottom rocker switch is not turned on.Turn on the bottom rocker switch and check if the heater turns on normally.
2)The bottom rocker switch is turned on. Plug in the adapter/cigarette lighter and check if the heater turns on normally.If the heater turns on normally, the battery is power off and needs to be charged before use.If the heater cannot turn on, there is a failure in the charging or power supply circuit, and it needs to be returned for inspection.
The water heater cannot ignite after water flows into water heater.
Is the water pump working?
1)The water pump is not functioning properly.
Check if the wires of water pump is connected normally.(Wires are near the “Pump”)
If the water pump wiring is connected correctly, then the water pump power supply circuit is damaged and needs to be returned for inspection.
If the water pump is connected incorrectly, insert the water pump plug into the “Pump” port and try again.
2)The water pump is working normally.
Is the water pump fully submerged in water? (It is recommended to place the water pump horizontally in the container.)
The water pump is fully submerged in water.
Set the showerhead to the highest setting (the middle level positiion of the showerhead, and the handle knob turned to the maximum) for testing.
If the water heater turns on and ignites normally, the issue is due to insufficient water flow, which does not meet the heater’s minimum water flow requirement.
If the heater cannot turn on and ignite, the water flow sensor is failed and needs to be returned for inspection.
If the water pump is not fully submerged in water, then please use another water container to fully submerge the water pump for a try.
The water heater produces a metallic collision sound when shaken.
This issue is caused by the wind baffle colliding with the inner wall of the smoke hood's lower shell, and it does not affect the heater's performance.
The water temperature is not hot enough.
Check if the included water pump and showerhead are being used.
1)Use the included showerhead and water pump.
Ask the customer to set the showerhead to the maximum setting. Based on the inlet and outlet water flow, please calculate the basic load and check if the load matches the heater’s capacity (20,000 BTU).
The heater’s load matches the designed capacity.
It is recommended that you use recirculation heating to increase the inlet water temperature or adjust the outlet water of showerhead to a smaller level.
The heater’s actual load is lower than the designed capacity.
Check if the gas type is correct and if there is any blockage in the pipeline. Replace the gas cylinder for a try or the heater if necessary.
2)Use municipal water or connect a higher flow rate water pump to the heater.
The heater’s capacity is 20,000 BTU. In cases of high water flow, the heating temperature will be lower due to the design limitations of the heater.
The insulation cotton of exhaust outlet is exposed outside.
The insulation cotton is attached to the exhaust outlet to prevent flue gas backflow and has a flame-retardant rating of V0.
Some slight exposure is relatively normal. The factory is currently working to ensure the insulation cotton is adhered to the outside of the exhaust outlet to prevent it from being exposed.

Q: Since propane bottles are opaque and propane is inherently colorless, how do I know how much propane is left in the bottle?
A: The heater does not support function of showing how much propane is left in the bottle. But if there is no gas left, it will have error code E3 /(for constant temperature version) E1.
Q: Screen is not showing normally.
A: Please send a video to show the issue directly so that we could help confirm the issue.
Q: Temperature does not rise higher than 90 even when the setting is set to the highest temperature.
A: Please refer to the troubleshooting steps of “The water temperature is not hot enough.”
Q: Can I use it with an external water pump or do I have to use the provided pump?
A: It is not recommended to connect to an external water pump for usage; it will damage the heater’s performance.
Q: If installed in a storage space, how much clearance is required above and to the sides of the unit?
A: It cannot be used in a confined indoor space. Please leave 1 meter of space around the heater.
Q: What is the water pipe size?
A: The pipe inner diameter is φ8mm while outer is φ12mm, length 2500mm.
Q: Can I use a 5 lb propane tank without a regulator?
A: No, our heater uses a one-pound propane tank, and replacing the 5-pound propane tank requires replacing accessories, which does not meet the standards.
Q: Is this product adaptable from using a 1lb propane bottle to the 20lb bottle?
A: The current pressure valve only works with 1-pound propane cylinders. If you want to use a 20-pound propane cylinder, you will need to purchase a separate pressure valve adapter for 20-pound propane cylinders. We do not currently offer this adapter.
