Can I tow with the Soft Upper Doors on?
Yes—under 30 mph with all straps tight. For highway towing, remove or cover the upper doors to prevent wind damage.
High-speed towing without a cover may tear straps or panels.
How do I clean and store the Soft Upper Doors?
Wipe PVC with a soft damp cloth—never dry rub. Roll for storage. Don’t fold.
How do I protect the zippers?
Clean with soap + brush. Dry, then lube with zipper wax. Never force a stuck zipper—clean grit, reapply lube, then retry.
What if the A-pillar strap conflicts with my windshield?
Just switch the strap to the built-in adhesive tape. No drilling, full seal.
How do I get a tight seal in cold weather?
Pair with a roof and windshield for best insulation. Avoid open setups—strong wind may damage straps and decals.
If I drive at 75 mph on the highway, will the straps come loose?
We recommend rolling up the transparent film when you drive at this speed. However, if the film is not rolled up, it is advisable not to drive too fast as the straps may break.
What should I do if the transparent film is severely wrinkled or has a blue water mist upon receipt?
Spread out the soft cover under direct sunlight for a day or two to resolve this issue. You can also use a hairdryer to speed up the process (time depends on the size of the transparent film, usually within 15-60 mins), but do not keep the dryer in one spot for too long as PVC film may melt and deform due to high temperature. (PS: Minor wrinkles in the transparent film are due to the material itself; significant wrinkles are caused by rough packing by warehouse. Blue moisture occurs when the PVC film gets damp, usually due to improper storage of raw materials or prolonged sea transportation.) If any further issues, you could send us some photos for showing the problem.
Lock Cylinder Replacement Instruction for PC Full Doors & Aluminum Half Doors
What should I do if the zipper breaks after usage for a while?
If you are willing to repair it themselves, we can send a zipper repair kit.
Note: The use of the zipper repair kit is limited. It cannot be used if the zipper teeth are deformed or missing.
We also provide a video tutorial for the repair operation. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oI5TQjFO_Dc)
The zipper repair kit is mainly for replacing the damaged zipper head when the zipper teeth are intact. Issues like the zipper teeth popping open or the zipper head coming off are due to the side plates of the zipper head being deformed. If the zipper teeth are damaged, the entire zipper is considered unusable, and replacing the zipper head won’t solve the problem.
Zipper Repair Instruction for Soft Upper Door/Soft Windshield/Soft Cab Enclosure
Step 1: Use sewing scissors to cut the stitching at the zipper bottom until the zipper teeth are separated from the fabric.
Step 2: Trim any excess threads.
Step 3:If the old zipper puller still remains on the zipper, remove it from the zipper bottom.
Step 4:Thread one side of the zipper teeth through the front of the zipper puller. Once the zipper teeth are halfway through, thread the other side of the zipper teeth.
PS. The higher part of the zipper puller is where the zipper teeth enter.
Step 5: Move the zipper puller to the top of the zipper and check if it moves smoothly.
Note: The zipper puller should not be too close to the end of the zipper at this point.
Step 6: Go back to the zipper’s bottom. Take the pointy end of one zipper stopper (bottom) and pierce it through the side with the zipper teeth.
Note: Be careful not to hurt your fingers while piercing.
Step 7: Flip the zipper to the backside. Use needle-nose pliers to close the prongs.
Step 8: Use sewing thread and a sewing needle to sew the end of the zipper teeth back together with the fabric.
Step 9:If the zipper top cannot effectively stop the zipper puller (it will come off from the top). Use needle-nose pliers to secure 2 zipper stoppers (top) onto the sides of the zipper teeth. Note: The two zipper stops should align with each other.

What should I do if the strap stitching tears during installation?
If the strap stitching tears during installation, it is likely due to weak stitching, please contact us and send some photos to show the issue.
What should I do if the strap stitching tears after usage for a while?
This could be due to improper usage, such as not using the front windshield+ roof + rear windshield together, towing at high speeds, or not smoothing out the surface during installation to eliminate gaps. These situations can cause excessive wind force on the straps, leading to tearing, please contact us and send some photos to show the issue.
Can the vehicle be towed with the soft upper doors/ soft windshield/ soft cable enclosure installed?
Towing on highways is not recommended. If towing is necessary, covering the vehicle with a cover can reduce the risk of damage to the product, but it cannot completely prevent it. We recommend a maximum towing speed of 40 mph.
Prolonged exposure to high-speed movement can cause the straps to break or fall off due to excessive wind force. If the product encounters sharp objects at high speeds on the road, the fabric may get torn or cracked.
What should I do if the straps are missing upon receipt?
Please contact us and send some photos to show the package and all the parts you received. We will help check the issue and come up with solution.
What should I do if the wrong side is received? Same side.

The strap installation position of the soft upper doors conflicts with the front windshield.
The strap at the connecting part between the soft upper doors and the front windshield is detachable. If there is a conflict, you can remove the strap and use the nearby Velcro adhesive tape to fix it.
This is a special design feature. The strap fixed on the A-bar is designed to be detachable to ensure compatibility with most brands of front windshields on the market.
The soft upper doors installation position conflicts with the roof/rear windshield.
If the roof/rear windshield of your vehicle is not original, it may indeed be incompatible with our product.
The strap positions of our soft upper doors are designed to avoid original roofs and rear windshields.
The soft upper doors can't be installed after the front windshield/roof/rear windshield has been installed.
First, loosen the fixing clamps of the front windshield/roof/rear windshield. After installing the soft upper doors, reinstall the clamps to their original positions.
The clamps of front windshield/roof/rear windshield press against the vehicle frame, preventing the straps of our soft upper doors from passing through and being fixed. Therefore, the clamps need to be loosened first, allowing the straps to be secured before reinstall the clamps.
Can the soft upper doors be compatible with the existing front windshield/roof/rear windshield of my vehicle?
If the front windshield/roof/rear windshield of your vehicle is original, our soft upper doors will definitely be compatible. If not, please check our installation photos to judge compatibility, mainly by checking whether the clamp positions conflict with the strap positions.
The strap positions of our soft upper doors are designed to avoid original front windshields, roofs, and rear windshields. Since we do not know the exact clamp installation positions of the front windshield/roof/rear windshield on your vehicle, you need to make the judgment by yourself.

While the Ultimate model is compatible in terms of vehicle fitment, it is not compatible with the rear speaker pod brackets. On the other hand, if you want to keep the speaker pod, you will need to purchase the OEM PC rear windshield.

How does it do with keeping the dust from gravel roads from swirling in? I have been debating on getting just metal half doors to try and cut down the dust swirl but looking at these I just worry the dust will swirl in from the bottom.
The KEMIMOTO full doors are made of waterproof PVC fabric and high-definition transparent film, and the sturdy and durable kemimoto soft cab enclosure provides excellent weather protection. Our soft full windshield can effectively prevent rainwater, snow, sand, dust, leaves, and other debris from entering the UTV, keeping the cab clean and tidy, and ensuring maximum driving comfort.

The velcro on bottom starts to peel away like it’s too tight if a fit, but if I loosen the front straps I believe it will let a lot of wind in. I installed them on 2024 krx trail edition.
For the Velcro issue at the bottom, we suggest the following steps:
1. Clean the door thoroughly to remove any water or other impurities.
2. Reattach the Velcro to ensure it adheres properly.
If you find that additional Velcro is needed, you can purchase 1.5-inch wide adhesive Velcro strips, which are available on Amazon. This should help secure the fit without compromising on wind protection.
